What gets deleted
- Your account, username, email address and login credentials.
- Your payout details and wallet address.
- Recordings you submitted that were rejected or are still awaiting review.
- Your accepted recordings, removed from our systems and excluded from any future dataset.
- Your usage history, device records and contributor reputation.
What cannot be deleted
Datasets already delivered to a customer cannot be recalled. If one of your accepted recordings was included in a dataset that has already been supplied to a robotics or AI company, we can stop using it ourselves and remove it from everything we deliver in future, but we cannot retrieve the copy they hold.
We also keep payment and tax records for the period the law requires, typically seven years. These contain the amounts paid and the dates, not your recordings.
How to request deletion
In the app
Open Profile → Settings → Delete account and follow the steps. This is the fastest route and verifies your identity automatically.
By email
Email [email protected] from the address registered to your account, with the subject line Account deletion request. Include your username so we can find the account.
We will send a confirmation email to the registered address to verify the request is genuinely yours. Once confirmed, deletion is completed within 30 days and we email you when it is done.
Other requests
You can also ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct something that is wrong, or restrict how we use it. Email [email protected] and tell us what you need.
If you appear in someone else's recording
capturGO tasks are recordings of hands and objects, not of people, and any clip containing an identifiable face is rejected and deleted before it can reach a customer. If you believe you have nonetheless been recorded, email [email protected] with roughly where and when. We will search for matching submissions and delete anything in which you are identifiable. You do not need an account to ask.
